MCCB with ETU550 for line protection
It carries the ETU550 electronic overcurrent release, which provides adjustable trip curves for selective coordination downstream. Breaking capacity reaches 440 kA at 240 V AC, 330 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 220 kA at 500 V, and 52.5 kA at 690 V — sufficient for high-fault utility feeds or transformer secondaries where SCCR headroom is critical.
The breaker measures 86 mm deep, 140 mm wide, and 181 mm high — a standard SENTRON 3VA frame size that fits existing panel cutouts and busbar layouts for 4-pole MCCBs in this class. Maximum power loss is 7.7 W, which informs thermal budgeting inside the enclosure — no forced cooling required for a single unit at rated load.
Communication and monitoring
The breaker includes a communication function, enabling integration with energy management or SCADA systems for remote monitoring and trip-event logging — a feature not available on all SENTRON 3VA variants. It does not include an undervoltage release, voltage trigger, ground-fault monitoring, or trip indicator as standard — these are separate accessory options if the application requires them.
