160 A MCCB with ETU330 — selectivity and coordination for main feeders
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2116-0HM36-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 160 A continuous current across the full operating temperature range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed. That makes it a straight drop for a main feeder or large subfeed where you need the full ampacity at elevated panel ambient. It carries the ETU330 electronic trip unit with adjustable long-time pickup (I_g) from 32 A to 160 A and short-time/instantaneous pickup (I_i) up to 1,600 A. Panel integration: the 86 mm depth, 105 mm width, and 181 mm height fit standard SENTRON 3VA mounting footprints. Front IP40 protection covers the trip unit and nameplate; the breaker is rated for an isolation voltage of 800 V. Maximum power loss is 19.7 W.
An optional motor drive (product extension) is available for remote operation.

Trip unit and protection settings
The ETU330 electronic trip unit provides LSI protection (long-time, short-time, instantaneous). The adjustable long-time pickup range (32–160 A) lets you match cable ampacity without swapping the breaker frame. Short-time/instantaneous pickup adjustable up to 1,600 A. Ground-fault monitoring is available via summation current formation on the line conductor.
