What bolts in — and what it handles
The Siemens 3VA2116-5HL32-0KG0 is a current-production 3VA2 IEC frame 160 circuit breaker, class M, rated for a 55 kA interrupting capacity at 415 V AC, three-pole. That Icu figure means it can safely clear a fault up to 55 kA at that voltage without welding its contacts or rupturing the case — line-side protection for a panel feeding high-fault plant loads. The ETU320 LI trip unit gives you adjustable long-time (Ir) from 63 A to 160 A and short-time / instantaneous (Ii) from 1.5 to 10× In. That's a wide band for coordinating with downstream feeders or motor starters without nuisance trips on inrush. The nut keeper kit is factory-fitted, so the breaker ships ready for DIN-rail or panel-mount without chasing loose hardware. Left-side shunt trip, 208–277 V AC / 220–250 V DC, plus one auxiliary switch changeover H and one trip alarm switch changeover — all factory-installed. That saves panel-builder wiring time: the shunt and alarm contacts are already wired internally, just land your control wires to the terminals.
Panel fit and integration notes
DIN-rail or panel-mount — the kit includes the nut keeper, so no loose washers on the bench. The shunt trip is left-side only; verify your cabinet layout clears that side for wiring access.
