The trip unit gives you adjustable overload and short-circuit settings, so you can dial in coordination without swapping hardware. Breaking capacity is what you really care about when a fault hits. At 240 V it's rated 187 kA, at 415 V and 440 V it holds 121 kA, at 500 V it drops to 75.6 kA, and at 690 V it's 3.7 kA. The 690 V number is low enough that you'd want to verify coordination if you're running a 690 V line.
It's a standard SENTRON 3VA form factor — bolts into a panel on a mounting plate or onto a DIN rail adapter if you use the optional rail foot. The 105 mm width per pole is typical for this class; three poles take up about 4.13 inches of rail space. No trip indicator on the front, so you'll need a separate status contact if you want remote blown-fuse indication.
