The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2116-5HL36-0AH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, carrying a continuous current of 160 A across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Its breaking capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V AC, stepping down to 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V. At 690 V the same device still clears 3.7 kA, enough for most 690 V distribution panels but not for high-fault 690 V switchgear.
The 105 mm width is the critical dimension for a multi-breaker panel: it occupies three 35 mm DIN-rail modules (105 mm ÷ 35 mm/module = 3), so it fills three adjacent spaces on the rail. That gives three independent signal contacts for status feedback — one for the alarm contact on trip, two for open/closed position. If your BOM calls for more than three auxiliary contacts, you will need an external auxiliary switch block on top.
