Rated 160 A continuous across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling — and carrying a 187 kA interrupting capacity at 240 V, it handles high-fault-current service entrances and feeder circuits without cascading upstream.
Interrupting ratings and selectivity
Breaking capacity drops with system voltage: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V. The 3-pole frame (105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, 86 mm deep) fits standard panel cutouts; the 160 A rating is the maximum for this frame size, so there is no headroom to uprate — specify the next frame if load growth is expected.
Built-in accessories and wiring
The shunt trip allows emergency-stop or PLC-driven tripping; the auxiliary contacts report position back to the control system.
