The interrupting ratings span from 187 kA at 240 V down to 3.7 kA at 690 V, giving selectivity headroom for most low-voltage switchgear.
Interrupting Capacity and Thermal Performance
At 240 V the breaker clears 187 kA; at 415 V and 440 V it holds 121 kA, and at 500 V it still manages 75.6 kA. The 690 V rating drops to 3.7 kA — a known knee on this frame size.
Integration Notes
The 4-pole form factor fits standard panel-mount cutouts for SENTRON 3VA2 frames. Front IP40 protection covers the operator interface; the ETU550 allows local adjustment of trip settings and supports communication for remote monitoring.
