SENTRON 3VA2116-5KP32-0AF0 — 160 A MCCB with Communication
This breaker's interrupting rating drops as system voltage rises: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V. The steep fall at 690 V means it's not a primary choice for 690 V distribution unless the available fault current is well below 3.7 kA. At 400/415 V — the common industrial voltage in Europe and much of Asia — the 121 kA rating covers virtually all standard panelboard applications.
The 105 mm width (4.13 in) matches the typical 3-pole MCCB cutout; the 86 mm depth (3.39 in) leaves clearance for rear-connected busbars or cable lugs. Mounts directly onto DIN rail or panel-mount plate with the supplied hardware. The communication function uses the breaker's internal bus interface — no external gateway needed for basic status reporting.
