The 3-pole configuration and breaking capacities of 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V/440 V, and 121 kA at 500 V (–) make it suitable for high-fault-current installations such as transformer secondaries or main feeders. At 690 V the breaking capacity drops to 3.7 kA, which limits its use on 690 V systems to low-fault locations.
The breaker occupies 105 mm width, 181 mm height, and 86 mm depth (–), which is the standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for the SENTRON 3VA2 frame. Panel cutout and mounting-hole pattern match the Siemens 3VA2 family; verify against the existing backplate if replacing a different brand. The 86 mm depth includes the arc-chamber protrusion — allow clearance for cable bending radius below the line and load terminals.
The trip indicator provides local visual status.
