SENTRON 3VA2116-6HN32-0BL0 — 160 A MCCB for Line Protection
The Siemens 3VA2116-6HN32-0BL0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a continuous current rating of 160 A across the full operating temperature range of -25 °C to 70 °C, with no derating required up to 70 °C as evidenced by the datasheet (–). The 3-pole configuration and breaking capacities of 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V/440 V, and 121 kA at 500 V (–) make it suitable for high-fault-current installations such as transformer secondaries or main feeders. At 690 V the breaking capacity drops to 3.7 kA, which limits its use on 690 V systems to low-fault locations.

The 86 mm depth includes the arc-chamber protrusion — allow clearance for cable bending radius below the line and load terminals.
Auxiliary and Release Configuration
This variant ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) and a full auxiliary switch complement: 2 auxiliary switches + 1 trip alarm switch + 1 electrical alarm switch HQ. The trip indicator provides local visual status. The supplied basic switch is order code 3VA21166HN320AA0. No communication function or ground-fault monitoring is included.
