Motor protection MCCB with communication
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2125-5MP32-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) purpose-built for motor protection, with a continuous current rating of 25 A that holds flat from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed across typical panel ambient temperatures. Breaking capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V — so it handles high fault currents on 240 V distribution while still clearing moderate faults on 690 V motor circuits. Adjustable trip classes (10A, 10/10E, 20/20E, 30/30E) let you match the overload curve to motor start characteristics. Built-in communication function and phase failure detection mean this breaker can report status and trip events to a PLC or SCADA, and it will drop the motor on loss of a phase — no separate phase monitor relay needed.
