What the Ratings Mean for Your Panel
The 3VA2125-5MQ32-0AA0: The 25 A rating holds across the full ambient temperature range from -25 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling, which simplifies panel sizing in warm enclosures. The adjustable overload range (5 A to 25 A) lets you dial in the exact motor FLA without swapping the breaker, a real time-saver during commissioning. Phase failure detection is built in, so the breaker will trip on a lost phase before the motor single-phases and burns up. The 187 kA interrupting rating at 240 V means this breaker can handle very high fault currents typical of large transformer-fed panels. At 690 V the rating drops to 3.7 kA — still adequate for most 690 V motor circuits, but verify the available fault current at the point of installation. The ground-fault monitoring uses summation current sensing on the line conductors, which catches leakage without a separate GFCI module.
Integration and Mounting
The breaker measures 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, and 86 mm deep. It mounts on a DIN rail or can be screw-fixed to a backplate. The communication function (listed as present) allows integration with a higher-level control system for remote monitoring or trip indication — check the exact protocol support in the full datasheet. Power loss is minimal at 0.6 W max, so heat buildup in a dense panel is not a concern.
