What this MCCB delivers on the line
The Siemens 3VA2125-7HL32-0AA0 is a 3-pole SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 25 A continuous current across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — no derating needed as the panel warms up. Its ETU320 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable short-circuit pickup (Iᵢ) from 38 A to 300 A, so you tune the magnetic trip to the inrush of a motor or the fault tolerance of a feeder without swapping the breaker. Breaking capacity hits 330 kA at 240 V AC, dropping to 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, then 187 kA at 500 V, and 3.8 kA at 690 V. That 330 kA figure means it handles the full let-through of a large transformer or a utility-grade fault on a 240 V distribution bus — not a rating you see on a 25 A frame every day.
Panel fit and integration
Dimensions come in at 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, and 86 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA2 frame footprint. IP40 on the front face keeps dust out of the trip-unit compartment in a closed panel. The line-protection version (no ground-fault monitoring) saves space on the DIN rail or mounting plate when you only need overcurrent and short-circuit protection. Optional motor drive is available as a field-fit accessory, so the breaker can be remotely racked or reset without opening the door. Communication function is not built in — this is a standalone thermal-magnetic replacement, not a smart breaker with Modbus or PROFINET on board.
