Molded case circuit breaker for line protection
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2125-8HN32-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection — meaning it sits upstream protecting a feeder or distribution bus, not a specific motor or load. Rated 25 A continuous at 40 °C, it holds that current all the way up to 70 °C without derating, which is useful in a packed panel where ambient heat builds. The ETU350 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable overload and short-circuit protection curves, so you can coordinate selectively with downstream breakers instead of relying on a fixed thermal-magnetic curve.
Interrupting capacity that covers most industrial services
At 415 V — common across European and much of Asian industrial supply — this MCCB interrupts 330 kA. That's enough for high-fault locations like a main switchboard near a large transformer. Even at 690 V it still handles 52.5 kA, so it's not limited to low-voltage distribution only. The 800 V rated insulation voltage confirms the internal clearances are sized for 690 V systems without derating the insulation.
Panel fit and environmental sealing
The 3VA2125-8HN32-0AA0 measures 105 mm wide by 181 mm tall by 86 mm deep. IP40 on the front.
