Trip Unit and Adjustability
The ETU860 provides adjustable magnetic pickup from 60 A to 480 A, so the same breaker body can be tuned for different load types — motor circuits need a higher instantaneous setting than feeder cables. Ground-fault monitoring uses summation current formation on L+N conductors, and the N-conductor protection is adjustable from OFF to 40%–160% of the phase rating, which is critical for panels with shared neutrals or harmonic-rich loads.
Thermal Performance and Panel Integration
The 86 mm depth (3.39 in), 140 mm width (5.51 in), and 181 mm height (7.13 in) fit standard SENTRON 3VA2 panel cutouts; verify the mounting base if retrofitting an older 3VF or 3VL footprint.
