The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2140-5HM32-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 40 A continuous current (Iu) across the full operating range from -40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to 70 °C ambient. Its interrupting capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V AC, dropping to 121 kA at 415/440 V, 76 kA at 500 V, and 3.8 kA at 690 V.
Fitted with the ETU330 electronic overcurrent release, this MCCB offers adjustable long-time delay (tr) from 0.5 to 17 seconds. The line protection version means it's configured for cable and busbar protection rather than motor or generator duty. No communication function onboard — this is a standalone thermal-magnetic replacement with electronic trip precision.
Dimensions are 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, and 86 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA form factor that fits existing 3VA panel cutouts and busbar systems. An optional motor drive is available for remote switching. Mounts via screw fixing to the mounting plate; no DIN-rail clip on this frame size.
