Breaking capacity hits 330 kA at 240 V and 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V — numbers that keep it on the short-circuit duty of a heavy feeder or a mining substation tap. At 690 V the same breaker still clears 3.7 kA, so it handles the high-voltage end of a mill drive circuit without cascading upstream.
Thermal derating — flat across the panel ambient range
The 4-pole body takes up the same width as most Siemens SENTRON 4-pole frames, so swapping into an existing panel with the same pole count should not require re-drilling the mounting plate.
Ground-fault and communication features
Ground-fault monitoring uses summation current formation on L + N conductors — catches residual current without a separate CT. A communication function is built in, which means this breaker can talk to a higher-level monitoring system for trip events and load data.
