The ETU320 trip unit gives you adjustable thermal-magnetic or electronic protection curves, which is the deciding factor for coordination studies — you can dial in the long-time pickup and short-time delay to achieve selectivity with downstream breakers. Interrupting capacity is substantial: 440 kA at 240 V, 330 kA at 415 V, and still 52.5 kA at 690 V.
The 3-pole form factor is a direct swap for existing SENTRON 3VA2 breakers in the same frame size. Power loss is only 1.2 W maximum, so thermal buildup in a dense panel is negligible.
