The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2163-0KQ46-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) in the 3VA2 frame, rated 63 A continuous current flat across 40 °C to 70 °C ambient — no derating needed in a warm enclosure. The ETU860 electronic trip unit gives adjustable overload and short-circuit protection, plus communication capability for power monitoring.
The 63 A rating is the assigned continuous current Iu — it carries the full load continuously without tripping, and the ETU860 release is adjustable, so you can set the actual trip point lower for cable protection. The 4-pole design covers three-phase plus neutral, with N-conductor protection adjustable from OFF to 40 %–160 % of the phase setting, which lets you coordinate with downstream devices on a 4-wire system.
Front IP40 protects against solid objects larger than 1 mm. ETU860 supports communication for power data to BMS or SCADA.
