63 A continuous, flat across the thermal curve
Three-pole construction with the ETU340 electronic trip unit, line protection variant.
Interrupting capacity by voltage level
187 kA at 240 V, dropping to 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, then 75.6 kA at 500 V. At 690 V the rating is 3.7 kA — this breaker is sized for 400 V class distribution where fault currents are high, not for 690 V motor circuits. The interrupting curve matches what you expect from a 63 A frame in the SENTRON 3VA2 family.
Current production — no LTB pressure
Lifecycle status is current. This part is in active manufacture and available through normal Siemens distribution channels. For BOM freeze planning, the 3VA2 platform is Siemens' mainline MCCB family — no imminent successor announced.
Standard DIN-rail mount or screw-mount via the 3VA accessory kit.
