The interrupting ratings step up with voltage: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415/440 V, 79 kA at 500 V, and 4.25 kA at 690 V. The 63 A frame also holds its full rating from 40 °C through 50 °C, then derates linearly to 53.55 A at 70 °C, so it can live in a warm enclosure without oversizing.
The base switch is order code 3VA2163-5HL32-0AA0, and the integrated auxiliary trip module is 3VA9688-0BL30. That means the breaker arrives ready for status feedback and remote shutdown — no loose add-on parts to order separately. The undervoltage release is not included, so if you need UVR, this is not the variant for that.
Environmental limits
Maximum power loss is 4 W. For a distribution breaker that sees infrequent switching, that number is ample; for a switching-duty application, check the electrical endurance curve.
