Siemens SENTRON 3VA2163-5HM42-0AA0 — 63 A MCCB with ground-fault monitoring
At 415 V and 440 V the breaking capacity holds at 121 kA; at 500 V it drops to 75.6 kA, and at 690 V it is rated 3.7 kA.
Ground-fault monitoring and protection design
This breaker integrates summation-current ground-fault monitoring on the L + N conductors. That means it measures the vector sum of phase and neutral currents internally — no external ground-fault relay or zero-sequence CT required. The design is line protection, not motor or feeder protection, so the trip curve and accessories are optimized for cable and busbar protection in main or sub-feed distribution.
The 140 mm width is the standard 4-pole MCCB footprint in the SENTRON 3VA platform. No undervoltage release or shunt trip is factory-installed.
