63 A MCCB with flat derating and high interrupting capacity
The SENTRON 3VA2163-5JQ32-0DC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated 63 A continuous, with a full-scale value of 63 A and an initial trip threshold of 16 A. It carries 187 kA interrupting capacity at 240 V, dropping to 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V — that last figure tells you this breaker is designed for low-voltage distribution, not 690 V motor circuits. The 63 A rating holds flat from 40 °C through 70 °C, so no derating curve to calculate in a warm panel. It includes an undervoltage release (UVR) and a communication function, plus two auxiliary switches (HQ). The basic switch assembly is order code 3VA21635JQ320AA0.
DIN-rail footprint and panel fit
Mounts on DIN rail. Dimensions are 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep — that's 4.13 in by 7.13 in by 3.39 in. The 105 mm width is a standard 6-module footprint for this class of MCCB, so it drops into existing panel layouts without re-drilling the backplate. The 86 mm depth leaves room behind the gland plate for the UVR coil wiring and communication cable.
