63 A MCCB with full-temperature rating and high SCCR
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2163-5JQ32-0DL0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for line-protection duty. It carries a continuous 63 A at any ambient from 40 °C through 70 °C — no derating curve to chase across the operating range. The interrupting capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V, dropping to 121 kA at 415/440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V. That SCCR profile covers most industrial distribution panels without needing a current-limiting upstream device. The breaker ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) and a full auxiliary-switch complement: two auxiliary switches, one trip-alarm switch, and one electrical-alarm switch HQ. That means the panel builder gets both status feedback and a separate alarm path without ordering add-on modules separately.
Dimensions and panel fit
The case measures 181 mm high by 105 mm wide by 86 mm deep (7.13 x 4.13 x 3.39 in). That footprint is standard for the 3VA2 frame size — it lands on the same DIN-rail or mounting-plate pattern as other 3VA2 breakers, so swapping a sibling into the same cutout takes minutes, not a re-drill.
