MCCB for line protection with electronic trip
Its ETU850 electronic overcurrent release provides adjustable trip curves and communication capability, making it suitable for selective coordination studies and integration into power monitoring schemes.
Rated short-circuit breaking capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V — the steep drop at 690 V means this frame is best applied on 240–500 V systems where fault current headroom is the priority. The 63 A frame with 187 kA at 240 V gives strong series rating potential downstream of a larger upstream device, reducing the need for fully rated breakers throughout the distribution.
Maximum power loss is 4 W, negligible for panel thermal budgeting in most enclosures.
