Motor protection MCCB with communication
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2163-5MP36-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed specifically for motor protection, rated 63 A continuous current across the full ambient temperature range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Breaking capacity hits 121 kA at 415 V and 187 kA at 240 V, with 75.6 kA at 500 V and 3.7 kA at 690 V — selectivity headroom for most distribution panels feeding motor control centers. Trip class is field-adjustable across 10A, 10/10E, 20/20E, and 30/30E.

Dimensions are 105 mm wide × 181 mm high × 86 mm deep — fits standard SENTRON 3VA panel cutouts and busbar systems; the 86 mm depth keeps it clear of shallow enclosure doors. Rated insulation voltage 800 V, power loss 4 W max at rated current — thermal budget inside the enclosure stays low for grouping multiple breakers.
