63 A MCCB with undervoltage release — line protection duty
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2163-6HN32-0DA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 63 A continuous at 40 °C, with the same 63 A rating holding all the way up to 70 °C — no derating needed across the full operating temperature range. Interrupting capacity runs 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V. That spread covers most industrial distribution panels where high fault current at low voltage is the real concern. The built-in undervoltage release (UVR) trips the breaker if control voltage drops, so it doubles as a loss-of-voltage protection device without an external relay.
Panel fit and footprint
Dimensions are 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA2 frame size that drops into existing Siemens switchboard cutouts and busbar systems. No trip indicator on the front face; fault status is read from the handle position or via the auxiliary switch port (the basic switch 3VA2163-6HN32-0AA0 is the base variant this breaker ships with).
