It holds 63 A continuous flat across the entire 40–70 °C range (–), so no derating curve to chase in a warm enclosure. The interrupting capacity is the headline: 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415/440 V (–), 187 kA at 500 V, dropping to 3.7 kA at 690 V.
Auxiliary switch complement — three HQ contacts
The basic switch underneath is 3VA2163-7HN32-0AA0. If your BOM needs those functions, this isn't the variant — but if you just need a high-interrupting feeder breaker with three aux contacts for position feedback, it's a clean fit.
Panel fit — dimensions and thermal budget
Power loss is 4 W maximum — negligible for enclosure heat rise calculations. The 63 A rating holds without derating all the way to 70 °C ambient (–), which is unusual — most breakers start tapering above 40 °C. That flat curve means you can size the enclosure for the breaker's footprint without adding thermal margin.
