63 A MCCB with 330 kA interrupting capacity
The Siemens 3VA2163-7HN32-0AG0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — no derating needed up to 70 °C, which simplifies panel design in warm enclosures. At 415 V and 440 V the interrupting rating holds at 242 kA; at 690 V it drops to 3.7 kA, so verify the available fault current at your service voltage.
Line protection design with auxiliary switching
That dual-signal feedback is useful for remote fault annunciation without extra wiring. The basic switch variant is 3VA2163-7HN32-0AA0; this order code adds the auxiliary switch package.
Dimensions are 181 mm height, 105 mm width, and 86 mm depth. The 105 mm width is standard for a 3-pole SENTRON 3VA2 frame — it occupies three 35 mm DIN-rail modules (each pole roughly 35 mm).
Power loss and environmental limits
Maximum power loss is 4 W at rated current — negligible for thermal budget calculations in a crowded panel. The MCCB includes a trip indicator (mechanical flag) for visual confirmation of a tripped state.
