Interrupting capacity — what those kA numbers mean for your panel
At 240 V this MCCB can interrupt 330 kA — that's a massive fault current, typical for a main breaker right behind a large transformer. At 415 V and 440 V it still handles 242 kA, and at 500 V it's 187 kA. The 690 V rating drops to 5.25 kA, which is still adequate for most 690 V motor circuits but not for high-fault service at that voltage.
Front IP40 protection means it's fine inside a closed panel; no special gasketing needed for the enclosure door cutout.
Auxiliary contacts and accessories
Comes with 2 auxiliary switches plus a trip alarm switch (HP version) — that's enough to send a remote status signal to a PLC or SCADA for both breaker position and trip condition.
