SENTRON 3VA2 MCCB for Motor Protection
The Siemens 3VA2163-7MN32-0BH0 is a SENTRON 3VA2 series molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuously at 40 °C, with no derating needed up to 70 °C — it holds 63 A across the full ambient range. That flat thermal curve simplifies panel design in warm enclosures where other breakers would force a downsized main. Three-pole construction with a motor-protection trip characteristic. An undervoltage release (UVR) is factory-fitted, allowing remote or safety-circuit dropout.
Breaking Capacity — Where It Matters
Breaking capacity is 330 kA at 240 V AC, dropping to 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, then 187 kA at 500 V. At 690 V it still clears 3.7 kA.
