What it is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2163-7MN32-0KA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current, flat across the entire operating temperature range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed as the panel warms up. It's designed specifically for motor protection, with built-in phase failure detection and a shunt trip release (STL) for remote tripping. The interrupting capacity hits 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, and 187 kA at 500 V; at 690 V it drops to 3.7 kA, so keep that in mind for high-voltage feeders.
Panel fit and footprint
It measures 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, and 86 mm deep — that's 4.13 by 7.13 by 3.39 inches. Three poles in that width; it'll occupy one standard MCCB slot on a DIN rail or panel-mount plate. The shunt trip adds a pair of control wires; plan for a 24 VDC or 110-240 VAC signal depending on the release coil ordered. No auxiliary switch or undervoltage release on this variant, so if you need those, look at the 3VA2163-7MN32-0AA0 base switch or add an external accessory.
