Its 330 kA breaking capacity at 240 V AC means it can safely interrupt a fault current that high without upstream cascading; at 415 V and 440 V that figure holds at 242 kA, and at 690 V it drops to 4.5 kA. For motor protection duty, the breaker includes phase failure detection and an undervoltage release (UVR), so it trips on loss of phase or control voltage — a standard requirement for conveyor, pump, and compressor circuits.
The auxiliary switch block (2 aux switches + 1 trip alarm + 1 electrical alarm switch HQ) and the undervoltage release are factory-integrated on the basic switch 3VA2216-7MN32-0AA0, so no field assembly of add-on modules is needed. Trip indicator is present for quick visual fault identification on the line side.
