MCCB sized for motor protection duty
Breaking capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V, dropping to 121 kA at 415 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 5.2 kA at 690 V — the high 240 V figure suits it for North American 277/480 V wye systems where the line-to-ground fault current can be severe on the secondary side of a 1500 kVA transformer.
Dimensions are 105 mm wide × 181 mm tall × 86 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA2 frame size that drops into the same mounting footprint as other 200 A SENTRON MCCBs, so a panel designed for a 3VA2 frame accepts this unit without re-drilling the backplate. Maximum power loss of 46 W at rated load — factor that into enclosure ventilation calculations if the panel is sealed; a 200 A breaker dumping 46 W into a small steel box can raise internal ambient above the 70 °C operating limit. Comes with 4 HQ auxiliary switches pre-installed (design of the auxiliary switch: 4 auxiliary switches HQ), so there is no separate add-on order for status feedback to the PLC or alarm annunciator.
