It carries a shunt trip release integrated as standard. Interrupting capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V, and 121 kA at 440 V, with 75.6 kA at 500 V and 17 kA at 690 V — enough for high-fault infrastructure panels where selectivity and SCCR headroom are non-negotiable.
The 200 A rated continuous current (Iu) holds across the entire 40 °C to 50 °C band without derating — at 55 °C it drops to 192 A, at 60 °C to 188 A, at 65 °C to 184 A, and at 70 °C to 180 A. The ETU350M electronic release gives adjustable thermal-magnetic curves and phase-failure detection, so it can be coordinated downstream of a larger SENTRON or upstream of a motor starter.
Panel Integration & Mounting
The 3-pole 200 A frame uses the same cutout and bus-bar spacing as other SENTRON 3VA2 breakers, so swapping a 160 A unit for this 200 A version requires no panel rework — just verify the bus-bar ampacity and the upstream fault rating.
