The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2220-7MS32-0AC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 200 A continuously across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Breaking capacity hits 330 kA at 240 V and 242 kA at both 415 V and 440 V, dropping to 187 kA at 500 V and 5.2 kA at 690 V.
Sizing and selectivity
The 200 A frame covers motor starter protection (the design designation) and feeder circuits up to that continuous current. The minimum trip threshold is 600 A, maximum 3 000 A — the adjustable magnetic pickup lets you set short-circuit protection above the motor inrush without nuisance tripping. For selectivity studies, the 242 kA at 415 V gives headroom downstream of a transformer; the 5.2 kA at 690 V is a hard limit if this breaker sees a 690 V bus.
Dimensions are 181 mm high, 105 mm wide, 86 mm deep — the 105 mm width is the standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for panel layouts.
