What this breaker delivers
The Siemens 3VA2225-5HL32-0AL0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 250 molded case circuit breaker with a 55 kA interrupting capacity at 415 V AC — class M breaking capacity, meaning it handles high fault currents typical of industrial main or feeder panels without cascading upstream. The ETU320 LI electronic trip unit gives you adjustable overload protection (Ir = 100 A to 250 A) and short-circuit pickup (Ii = 1.5 to 10 x In), so you tune the trip curve to the load rather than swapping breaker frames. It ships with a nut keeper kit, two HQ auxiliary switches, one HQ trip alarm switch, and one electrical alarm switch — all factory-installed, so you don't lose DIN-rail space adding them later. That matters when the panel layout is tight and the BOM calls for status feedback to a PLC or SCADA.
Where it fits in the panel
Mounts on a DIN rail or direct-panel bolted — the 3VA2 frame is the standard IEC form factor for 250 A class distribution. The nut keeper kit prevents hardware loss during installation, which speeds up panel assembly when you're running multiple breakers side by side.
