What this MCCB carries and where it fits
The Siemens 3VA2225-6HN32-0AA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated for 250 A continuous current at 40 °C, with the same rating holding through 50 °C before a gradual derating curve begins (241 A at 55 °C, down to 213 A at 70 °C). That 250 A frame makes it a fit for main feeders or large motor branch circuits in commercial and industrial distribution panels. Breaking capacity is 242 kA at 240 V AC, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 4.5 kA at 690 V — so the high interrupting rating at the lower voltages means this breaker can sit ahead of a transformer or at the service entrance where fault currents are stiff. The ETU350 electronic trip unit gives adjustable long-time, short-time, instantaneous, and ground-fault protection curves. No voltage-trip or undervoltage release is fitted from the factory, so if you need shunt-trip or UVR for emergency-off or generator transfer, that has to be added as an accessory.
Panel fit and mounting
Dimensions are 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, 86 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint that bolts into a SENTRON distribution board or onto a mounting plate. IP40 on the front means it's protected against tools and solid objects larger than 1 mm, but not against water ingress; keep it inside a rated enclosure. Power loss at full rated current is 48 W maximum — factor that into enclosure ventilation if you're packing multiple breakers in a confined panel.
