The ETU550 is a microprocessor-based electronic trip unit offering LSIG protection (long-time, short-time, instantaneous, ground-fault) with adjustable settings. Communication function is built in — this variant supports fieldbus integration for power monitoring and remote trip indication, which saves adding a separate metering module. The base switch mechanism is 3VA2225-6JP32-0AA0. No voltage trigger or phase failure detection on this variant.
Full 250 A rating holds up to 50 °C ambient. Above that it derates linearly: 238 A at 55 °C, 225 A at 60 °C, 213 A at 65 °C, and 200 A at 70 °C.
