Its interrupting capacity reaches 330 kA at 240 V, dropping to 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, then 187 kA at 500 V, and 4.5 kA at 690 V — the high SCCR at the lower voltages makes this a fit for high-fault-current mains or distribution panels where selectivity and fault-clearing coordination are critical.
Thermal derating and enclosure integration
The breaker carries its full 250 A rating up to 50 °C ambient; above that it derates linearly to 241 A at 55 °C, 232 A at 60 °C, 222 A at 65 °C, and 213 A at 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 48 W. For a panel-builder, that means the 250 A figure holds in a 50 °C enclosure — no derating needed unless the internal ambient exceeds that.
