The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2225-7HL32-0BA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 250 A continuous current at 40 °C, using an ETU320 electronic trip unit for line protection. Its interrupting capacity reaches 330 kA at 240 V and 242 kA at 415 V, dropping to 6.3 kA at 690 V — the high fault-current headroom at low voltages makes it a fit for transformer secondary or bus-tie applications where available fault current is extreme.
The 250 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C, then derates to 241 A at 55 °C, 232 A at 60 °C, 222 A at 65 °C, and 213 A at 70 °C.
