It breaks up to 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415/440 V, and 187 kA at 500 V — numbers that tell you it handles high-fault utility feeds or transformer secondaries without cascading upstream. The 250 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C; above that it derates to 241 A at 55 °C and 213 A at 70 °C. At 690 V the breaking capacity drops to 4.5 kA — a signal that this breaker is not intended for 690 V main-fault duty. Use it on 400/480 V distribution where the high interrupting ratings are in play.
Power loss is 48 W maximum at rated current. In a sealed, non-ventilated panel that heat adds up — account for it in the thermal budget if you're packing multiple breakers side by side.
