250 A MCCB with 440 kA interrupting capacity — motor protection variant
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2325-0MQ32-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) in the motor protection version, rated for 250 A continuous current across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — no derating needed as the temperature climbs on a crowded panel door.
That matters when you stack breakers in a non-ventilated enclosure or near a drive heat sink. 440 kA at 415 V is an arc-flash rating, not a running current. The adjustable trip classes (10A, 10/10E, 20/20E, 30/30E) let you match the thermal memory to the motor start profile — a high-inertia fan gets 30/30E; a pump gets 10A. The ETU860M also carries communication onboard, so the breaker reports status and trip events to a PLC or SCADA without an add-on module.
No undervoltage release or voltage trip fitted as standard — if you need UVR for a safety circuit, order it separately. The trip indicator is also absent on this variant; the ETU860M's display or communication interface provides the trip cause instead.
