The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2325-5HL32-0DA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 250 A continuous current, with a breaking capacity of 187 kA at 240 V AC and 121 kA at 415 V AC. It includes an integrated undervoltage release (UVR) for coordinated shutdown when supply dips below the dropout threshold — essential for motor control centers and process lines where automatic restart after undervoltage is undesirable. The 40 W maximum power loss is manageable in a standard IP enclosure with passive ventilation.
Breaking performance across voltage levels
At 240 V the 3VA2325-5HL32-0DA0 interrupts 187 kA; at 415 V and 440 V it holds 121 kA. At 500 V the rating drops to 75.6 kA, and at 690 V to 7.5 kA. This is a line-protection device, so the high short-circuit ratings at distribution voltages (240–440 V) give selectivity headroom downstream — you can coordinate with smaller branch MCCBs without exceeding the upstream breaker's withstand.

Undervoltage release and auxiliary options
The undervoltage release (UVR) is factory-installed; no auxiliary switch is fitted. The basic switch variant is order code 3VA2325-5HL32-0AA0, which omits the UVR. If you need a shunt trip or ground-fault monitoring, this variant does not carry them — those are separate order codes in the 3VA2 family.
