Panel-builder commissioning notes
The 3VA2325-5HL32-0KF0 is a current-production IEC frame 400 molded-case circuit breaker from the Siemens 3VA2 line, rated for 250 A continuous with an Icu of 55 kA at 415 V AC — that's the maximum fault current it can safely interrupt without damage, sized for high-fault industrial distribution panels where a standard 25 kA breaker would weld closed on a bolted fault. The ETU320 electronic trip unit provides LI (long-time and instantaneous) protection: overload pickup adjustable from 100 A to 250 A, and short-circuit pickup from 1.5× to 12× In, so you can coordinate selectively with downstream feeders without nuisance tripping on motor inrush.
DIN-rail integration and fill factor
Mounts on standard DIN rail in the enclosure; the nut keeper kit (included) prevents terminal hardware from backing off under vibration on a conveyor line or pump skid. The 3-pole footprint occupies three module widths — plan gland-plate knockouts accordingly when laying out a multi-breaker panel.
Shunt trip and auxiliary wiring
The factory-fitted shunt trip (STL) operates on 220–250 V DC or 208–277 V AC, letting you remote-trip the breaker from an E-stop or fire-alarm relay without a separate interposing contactor. One HQ auxiliary switch and one trip alarm switch are included for status feedback to the PLC or annunciator panel.
