What this MCCB delivers in the panel
The SENTRON 3VA2325-5HN32-0BH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 250 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed until you push past that window. Breaking capacity sits at 187 kA at 240 V, dropping to 121 kA at 415/440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V. That spread tells you this breaker was designed for high-fault low-voltage distribution, not for 690 V motor circuits where the available fault current is low. The 187 kA figure at 240 V is the headline number for service-entrance or main-feeder duty on a 240/120 V delta or 208Y/120 V wye secondary. It ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) fitted — that's the -0BH0 suffix — plus two auxiliary switches and one trip alarm switch (HQ type). The UVR drops the breaker on loss of control voltage, which is standard for emergency-off circuits and undervoltage protection schemes. The auxiliary switch complement gives you three dry contacts for status feedback to a PLC or annunciator panel.
Mounting and integration
Dimensions are 248 mm high, 138 mm wide, 110 mm deep. That's a standard SENTRON 3VA2 frame footprint — fits the same mounting base and busbar system as other 250 A frames in the family. The 110 mm depth means it clears most 200 mm deep enclosures with room for cabling behind the breaker. Panel builders should verify the busbar adapter and lug kit separately; those are ordered as accessories, not included in the base breaker order code.
