Siemens 3VA2325-5HN32-0KL0 — 250 A MCCB for Line Protection
The Siemens 3VA2325-5HN32-0KL0 is a SENTRON 3VA2-series molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 250 A continuous current across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — no derating needed until you exceed that. That 250 A holds at every 5 °C step from 40 up to 70 °C, so it's a straight drop-in for a warm panel without recalculating the thermal curve. Three-pole, line-protection design. Interrupting capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V AC, drops to 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V. That 187 kA at 240 V puts it in the high-fault tier for North American 240 V delta or 277/480 V wye panels where the available fault current is stiff. The 121 kA at 415 V covers most European 400 V industrial distribution. This breaker ships with a shunt trip (STL) auxiliary release and a full complement of switching accessories: two auxiliary switches, one trip alarm switch, and one electrical alarm switch (HQ designation). The basic switch core is order code 3VA2325-5HN32-0AA0. A trip indicator and voltage trigger are both present. No undervoltage release, no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module on this variant.
Dimensions and Panel Fit
Footprint: 138 mm wide, 248 mm tall, 110 mm deep. That 110 mm depth is shallow enough for most 200 mm deep enclosures without a gland-plate conflict. The 138 mm width is the standard 3-pole MCCB pitch in the SENTRON 3VA2 family — lines up with busbar adapters and the mounting feet on the DIN-rail adapter plate. No special cutout needed if you're replacing an existing 3VA2 frame.
