It carries the ETU350M electronic overcurrent release with integrated phase failure detection, and a factory-fitted shunt trip (STL) release for remote tripping. The 250 A rating holds from 40 °C through 50 °C; above that it derates to 240 A at 55 °C, 235 A at 60 °C, 230 A at 65 °C, and 225 A at 70 °C — so in a warm enclosure you need to account for the thermal drop. Breaking capacity scales with system voltage: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415/440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 17 kA at 690 V. Mechanical endurance is listed at 15 000 operations — typical for a 250 A frame in motor-starting duty. Max power loss is 37.5 W, which matters for heat buildup inside a sealed enclosure.
Integration notes
Dimensions: 248 mm high, 138 mm wide, 110 mm deep — standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for 250 A frame. No auxiliary contacts or undervoltage release are fitted from the factory; the only integrated release is the shunt trip (STL). The base switch (3VA2325-5MN32-0AA0) and the auxiliary trip (3VA9688-0BL30) are separate orderable components if you need to add them later.
