What this MCCB delivers
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2325-6HN32-0HA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 250 A continuous current across the full operating range from -25 °C to 70 °C, with no derating needed up to that ambient ceiling. It carries a 242 kA breaking capacity at 240 V, stepping down to 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V — so it handles high-fault industrial feeds where the available short-circuit current is substantial, especially at lower voltages. The line-protection design means it's set up for feeder and main breaker duty, not motor branch circuit protection.
Shunt trip and integration
This MCCB includes a shunt trip release (STL) — a voltage-triggered auxiliary release that lets a remote signal or safety circuit trip the breaker independently of the overload or short-circuit mechanism. That makes it useful in emergency-stop chains or remote-disconnect schemes where you need to drop the load from a PLC or safety relay. The breaker itself is a 3-pole unit with no auxiliary switch and no undervoltage release, so if your panel needs those, plan for external add-ons. Dimensions are 248 mm high, 138 mm wide, 110 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA footprint that drops into the same panel cutouts as other 3VA frames.
