The Siemens 3VA2325-7JQ42-0AA0 is a SENTRON 3VA2 molded case circuit breaker rated for 250 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Four poles, line-protection version, fitted with the ETU560 electronic trip unit. The interrupting capacity is 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 187 kA at 500 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V. That 330 kA figure at 240 V is the number that governs selectivity in high-fault utility or transformer-secondaries; the 690 V rating of 7.5 kA is the practical ceiling for this frame in IEC applications.
The ground-fault monitoring uses summation current formation on the L+N conductor, which means it detects residual current without a separate sensor core — useful in retrofit panels where space for a toroid is tight.
Communication function is built in, and a motor drive option is available for remote switching.
