Rated continuous current and breaking capacity
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2325-7MS32-0BH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) in the starter protection version, rated for a continuous current Iu of 250 A across the full ambient temperature range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Breaking capacity reaches 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 187 kA at 500 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V.
Overcurrent release and adjustability
The overcurrent release is the ETU310M electronic unit. Adjustable short-circuit release (Ii) spans 750 A to 3,750 A — that's 3x to 15x the 250 A continuous rating, letting you tune the magnetic trip to match motor inrush or feeder coordination.
Physical dimensions and panel fit
Dimensions: 248 mm high, 138 mm wide (5.4 in), 110 mm deep. Depth of 110 mm leaves clearance for rear-connected lugs or auxiliary contact blocks inside a 400 mm deep enclosure.
Environmental limits and power loss
Front-face protection is IP40, so it's dust-protected but not washdown-rated; suitable for indoor switchgear and motor control centers.
